Ashlee Harrington Vandiver, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA, Board Certified in Audiology
Dr. Vandiver joined LA Hearing Center in September, 2012. She is a native of Androscoggin County, and grew up nearby in Turner. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Communication and Business from the University of Maine in Orono in 2008, and went on to attend Towson University in Towson, Maryland where she achieved her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.). It was always Dr. Vandiver’s dream to return to Androscoggin County to bring current, best-practice hearing health care services to our community. Dr. Vandiver specializes in diagnostic audiology assessment for pediatrics and adults, as well as fitting, programming, and repairing of all makes and models of hearing aids. Dr. Vandiver is Board Certified in Audiology, holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and Maine Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Vandiver lives locally with her husband Wesley, a Marine Corps Veteran, and three sons. In her spare time, Dr. Vandiver enjoys spending time with family, reading, gardening, being outdoors and cheering on the Patriots!
Jenna Palazzolo, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA
Dr. Palazzolo joined LA Hearing in September 2016. She received her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Maine in 2011 and continued on to received her Doctorate degree from Central Michigan University in 2015. Dr. Palazzolo moved back to Maine following graduation and has loved being back home on the East Coast!
She has a passion for helping those around her, especially those struggling with hearing loss. She specializes in fitting, repairing, and adjusting all makes and models of hearing aids and loves diagnostic testing for pediatrics and adults.
Dr. Palazzolo resides in Androscoggin county with her husband and growing family! She enjoys visiting family in Michigan and outside of work, Dr. Palazzolo spends time singing, crocheting, and teaching others about natural health solutions through use of essential oils.
Casey Borstel, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Casey Borstel, Audiologist, grew up on the South Shore of Massachusetts. Her younger sister who was born with hearing loss and she communicates using American Sign Language (ASL). Dr. Borstel received her Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology in 2014. She quickly discovered, during her undergraduate education, that she was drawn to the field of audiology from her personal experience with hearing loss. Casey completed her doctoral program at the University of Connecticut and now provides care full time to audiology patients of all ages at LA Hearing Center, located in central Maine. For fun, she loves to explore nature as well as sing, whether it be to the radio in the car or for karaoke.
Amanda Rhodes, Au.D.
Dr. Amanda Rhodes, Audiologist, joined LA Hearing Center as a doctoral extern in June of 2108. After graduating in May of 2019, she has become a full time Audiologist at LA Hearing Center. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Child Development and Family Relations from the University of Maine Orono in 2015. She went on to obtain her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) at the University of Connecticut. Having grown up in northern Maine, Dr. Rhodes was thrilled to begin providing best practice hearing healthcare back in her home state. She specializes in diagnostic audiology assessment for pediatrics and adults, as well as fitting, programming, and repairing all makes and models of hearing aids. Dr. Rhodes is currently pursuing her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology.
Dr. Rhodes resides locally in Androscoggin County with her husband, Jacob. In her spare time she enjoys visiting the coast and spending time on the golf courses of central Maine.
